Common questions

Frequently asked.

Do I need a referral to schedule?

Generally no — you can book directly via our online scheduling or by calling us. Some HMO plans require a referral; we'll verify when you contact us.

How long are appointments?

Initial visits are 60 minutes. Follow-up appointments are typically 30 minutes, though we'll always extend if more time is needed.

Do you offer telehealth?

Yes — most of our care can be delivered via secure video. Some primary-care services (vaccinations, certain physical exams) require in-person visits.

Do you prescribe controlled substances?

Yes, when clinically appropriate — including stimulants for ADHD and certain anxiety/sleep medications. We prescribe responsibly with regular monitoring.

What if I'm in crisis?

If you're in immediate danger, please call 988 or 911, or go to your nearest emergency room. We are not a 24/7 crisis service.

Can I see Dr. Palle for both mental health and primary care?

Yes — Dr. Palle is dual-certified, so the same provider can manage your psychiatric care AND your primary care, with one unified plan.

What's the cancellation policy?

We ask for at least 24 hours' notice. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee. Life happens — just communicate with us when it does.

How are records kept secure?

All clinical documentation is stored in a HIPAA-compliant electronic health record. Telehealth uses encrypted video.
